Thailand is the country with an abundance of luxury hotels and resorts that never fail to impress. BusinessClass has looked at what InterContinental’s new resort in Phuket has to offer.
Phuket has seen several luxury hotels opened in recent years, and now the competition has increased – with the newly opened InterContinental Phuket Resort.
The resort is beautifully located on the sheltered northern bay of Kamal Beach on the west coast of Phuket Island, and offers incredible views over the Andaman Sea. The resort is surrounded by leafy mountain hills, giving guests a sense of tranquillity and privacy.
The InterContinental Phuket Resort offers 221 elegant rooms and villas, curated culinary experiences in their four restaurants and bars, the Club InterContinental Lounge, six swimming pools, and a fantastic spa and wellness facility.
Each of the 221 meticulously decorated rooms and villas is stylish, blending both Thai tradition with modern design. All rooms offer breath-taking views of the ocean, the lagoon, or the surrounding hills.
InterContinental offers guests an extraordinary culinary journey. Sustainability is the focus, and all four restaurants and bars use traditional recipes with a modern twist. Pinto, their all-day dining restaurant, is inspired by Phuket’s old city. Jaras, the Thai restaurant, source its products from the island’s fishermen and farmers, and Pine is the resort’s exclusive beach bar and lounge and offers perhaps Phuket’s best sunset views.
The resort’s spa and wellness embrace the pursuit of mindfulness by relaxing the body, mind, and spirit through their holistic spa- and wellness treatments. There are eight treatment rooms, a double suite with jacuzzi, and a nail salon.
