Best Western have launched two new brands in their hotel portfolio, both designed to meet the growing demand for large city hotels and luxury. The new hotel concepts are named Vib and Best Western Premier Collection.
Vib (pronounced vibe) is an urban hotel concept where the focus is on contemporary design and modern technology. Self check-in is an important and central part, a response to the increasingly connected hotel guests’ requirements. Vib is an abbreviation of Vibrant.
According to Best Western, Vib will also focus on connectivity, new technologies, and social engagement, with large interactive lobbies, local character, and comfortable and stylish rooms. The technical facilities will include high speed internet access, facilities for charging devices, on demand services, and LED lighting to create a pleasant atmosphere. It will also offer 24-hour self-service food and beverages, a gym, and work spaces in the rooms. Vib shall also be cost-effective with regards to both construction and operation.
Best Western Premier Collection is a new ‘soft brand’ within Best Western, which, according to the hotel chain, will offer a carefully selected first-class hotel experience of the highest quality. The hotels will be part of Best Western’s official portfolio and bookable through Best Western’s normal booking channels. The hotels will also offer the opportunity for guests to earn and redeem points through the bonus program, Best Western Rewards.
– “Our guests preferences change over time, and we must change with them,” says Johan Kukacka, CEO of Best Western Sweden. “The launch of Vib and BW Premier Collection represents the change that our brand is undergoing to meet the increasing demands and changes that are taking place among travellers in general today. These two new products will enable us to reach new customers without compromising the values and quality that our guests expect from Best Western.”
