Emirates yesterday launched its fourth Italian destination – Bologna. The Gulf airline now operates 56 weekly flights to four cities across Italy – Rome, Milan, Venice and Bologna.

Located in northern Italy, Bologna is being served daily by a new B777-300ER with three classes on board, including eight private suites in First Class, 42 fully-flat seats in Business Class, and 310 seats in Economy Class.

Flight EK093 departs Dubai International Airport at 09.00, arriving at Bologna Guglielmo Marconi Airport at 12.35. In the opposite direction, flight EK094 will depart Bologna at 14.30 and arrives in Dubai at 23.20.

Emirates are confident the new daily flight will bring economic benefit, trade and investment to the region, whilst providing direct connections to and from the Middle East, Asia and Australasia. Emirates is the only international carrier to provide direct services between Bologna and Dubai.

“Our new daily flight to Bologna combines not only our world-class service but also convenient access to this important Italian gateway from across our global network. As the only wide-bodied aircraft to operate from Bologna we bring to the region an unrivalled customer experience across all three cabin classes,” said Thierry Antinori, Emirates’ Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer Commercial Operations Worldwide.
