The iconic Beverly Wilshire, A Four Seasons Hotel is famed for hosting high-profile clientele and its luxurious Beverly Hills address. But this December, the 5-star hotel is bringing a touch of the “great outdoors” to South California with the first urban glamping experience in Los Angeles.
Adventurous guests will be able to spend the night under the stars in a three-metre tall tent on the terrace of the hotel’s Veranda Suite. The spacious tent will feature a plush Four Seasons queen-size bed and lavish furnishings such as a crystal chandelier, marble lamps, fur rugs, and antique nightstands.
Accessed by a marble staircase, the Veranda Suite is the only room in the Hotel to reside on its very own floor. A soaring respite ten stories up, the studio-style suite features a 2,140 square-foot terrace with unparalleled 270-degree views of the Hollywood Hills and Rodeo Drive.
Along with the tent, the terrace will feature oversized lounge furniture surrounding an atmospheric fireplace. Outdoor dining for eight will also be included. The rest of the Veranda Suite – including a king-size bed, walk-in closet, marble bathroom and modern amenities – will also be available to guests.
For the ultimate luxury glamping experience with an urban twist, guests will also be able to enjoy a special tasting menu prepared on the veranda by the Executive Chef of Beverly Wilshire, before settling down to vintage Champagne around the campfire, with the addition of possibly the world’s most luxurious s’mores. Made by celebrity Chef Chris Ford, these unique s’mores are made from 24 karat gold leaf, Tahitian vanilla bean marshmallow, and a smoked 55 percent Valrhona chocolate bar. Yum!
Urban Glamping in the Veranda Suite is only available during December 2017.
